The Poet Laureate Podcast

Kyeren Regehr is the 7th Poet Laureate of Victoria and the creator of The Poet Laureate Podcast. Backed by a project grant from the Canada Council for the Arts, the podcast serves as a "Sonic Sanctuary" for world-premiere poetry.

As the Artistic Director of Planet Earth Poetry, Kyeren is a dedicated curator of the Canadian literary landscape.  She is the author of Cult Life (ReLit/Butler finalist) and Disassembling A Dancer (Raven Chapbooks winner), and has been thrice longlisted for the CBC Poetry Awards. With a background as a poetry editor for The Malahat Review and a recipient of three Canada Council grants, she brings a deep commitment to craft and community to every episode. She lives and works on the unceded territories of the lək̓ʷəŋən and W̱SÁNEĆ peoples.
